The ECIED Directorate is champion policy programmes that embrace a system-wide Inclusive Education system approach and principles supported by culture and everyday practices to guide policy implementation across the ministry, in schools and other education settings. This Directorate will also lead and coordinate, oversee policy development and implementation for Early Childhood Education and provide advice on matters regarding the promotion of the holistic learning and development of the child, namely, social, emotional, physical, spiritual, language and cognitive skills that are essential and foundational experience for later schooling and lifelong learning.
